Easy and quick bolognese sauce recipe
We all know the Bolognese sauce (also spelled bolognese sauce ), it's that delicious Italian recipe that mixes tomato and minced meat and used in various dishes, from pasta, lasagna, etc.
Bolognese sauce has, of course, a thousand ways to prepare, varies depending on who is in charge of the kitchen.
The Bolognese sauce recipe that I will explain below is what my mother does, it is one of my favorite homemade recipes, very simple, but extremely delicious .>
You can use it for pasta obviously, but it also works wonderfully for lasagna, meat-filled dishes and for fun things like gratin zucchini.
How to make homemade bolognese sauce
- 500 grams of minced meat (ground)
- 1 can of 400 gram chopped tomatoes
- 3 or 4 basil leaves
- A pinch of cinnamon powder (less than ½ teaspoon)
- A pinch of oregano
- A pinch of rosemary
- Freshly ground pepper
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil
Chop the tomatoes well so that they are completely made with sauce. Some people prefer that some pieces remain, this also works if you like it.
Heat a medium pot and add some olive oil, add the ground beef and stir a couple of minutes.
Add all the condiments: salt, pepper, basil, oregano, rosemary and cinnamon. If you have salvia you can put a little bit too.
Then you're going to take the tomato sauce and a little less than half a cup of water. Stir well and let it boil.
Once boiling, lower the heat in half, stir a little and cover.
From now on, mix from time to time and try the taste of your Bolognese sauce, correct salt , pepper, and any of the spices if you think it is convenient.
Allow it to cook over low heat for about half an hour.
You must be aware of the pot, if the sauce start to dry, add water, the idea is to leave something liquid.
Once the half hour has elapsed and after tasting it and verifying that it is well salt. Turn off and let stand a few minutes.
